This embroidered patch is given out by the South Bay Regional Training Academy in San Jose (Calif.). The center of the patch contains four squares (upper left, clockwise): gold badge for law enforcement, black scales of justice for courts, red-and-yellow Maltese Cross for firefighting, and blue-and-white Caduceus for emergency medicine. Interestingly, the various blue backgrounds (outer area, behind "Public Safety Training" and inside the center circle) are woven at different angles, giving them a dramatic dark and light blue appearance that's not visible in this photo.
