The Raymore (Mo.) Police Department Communications Officers switched to this style of uniform in about 1999: a polo shirt with the department emblem on the left upper front and khaki pants. The shirts come in several colors, so they can mix up what they wear during the week, and they're more comfortable and cooler to wear than a formal uniform.
