Town of Essex, Vermont

WHEREAS, the Essex Police Department provides twenty-four hour emergency communications for the Town of Essex, the Village of Essex Junction, the Town of Williston and the Town of Westford,

WHEREAS, the emergency dispatchers for the Essex Police Department provide the critical first contact with those in need of emergency service,

WHEREAS, the emergency dispatchers for the Essex Police Department provide service and support to the officers of the Essex Police Department, the staff of the Town of Essex and the community at large,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED on behalf of the citizens of the Town of Essex, that tribute be paid to Peggy McCabe in appreciate for her efforts to make this community a better place in which to live and work, and in recognition of National Dispatcher's Week, April 14-20, 1996.

Adopted this 1st day of April, 1996 by the Essex Town Manager and Selectboard.
