800 MHz Implemention Waves

In early 2005 the Transition Administrator (TA) for the 800 MHz reconfiguration issued a schedule for completing the process, taking into account various radio systems, border issues with Canada and Mexico, and other issues.

The re-banding will be done in "waves" according to the following map issued by the TA. The numbers on each state refer to the existing FCC 800 MHz coordination area. Download the map (pdf) from the TA site.
