Nextel 800 MHz Interference Plan
In Nov. 2001 Nextel Corp. submitted a White Paper to the FCC that proposed a broad realignment
of the 800 MHz band to help reduce inteference between public safety and commercial services.
The White Paper was accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation that depicts how frequency assignments
would be changed to end interleaved frequencies, and create large, contiguous assignments for public
safety and commercial services. Click on any slide for a larger view.
