This is the primary fire radio dispatcher, who receives fire incidents on CAD, presses two buttons to display a recommendation and then automatically page the proper stations and personnel. CAD generates the list of pager codes from the unit recommendation--manual paging isn't required unless CAD goes down. There is an identical position to the left, staffed by another dispatcher who takes the second of simultaneous calls.
