At Rancho de las Golondrinas south of Santa Fe (NM), volunteers have restored a 400-acre town that served as the last stop on the Santa Fe Trail before reaching Santa Fe. The buildings include a house, church, water-driven mill, blacksmith shop and other out buildings.
