This photo was taken without flash and gives a good idea of the indirect, even light from the area around the outer ceiling edge. There are also incandescent lights in a track that are adjustable with a dimmer from each position. The dispatcher in the foreground has her adjustable reading light on.
Each console can perform fire or police radio, call-taking or channel 2 police.
