Woman Calls To Report Officer’s Assault

A Des Moines (Iowa) woman who had initially called police to report a disturbance at her apartment dialed 911 again four hours later, this time to report that the handling officer had tried to sexually assault her. The woman identified Off. Maynard Richardson, 35, as the officer, and police are now investigating the incident. In the phone call, the woman was initially reluctant to divulge all the details, but asked that a female officer be sent to take a police report.
