Vehicle Accidents Touch Two Dispatchers

Two separate vehicle accidents were reported recently involving dispatchers, including one fatality. Fifteen-year Stamford (Conn.) dispatcher and volunteer firefighter Randy Samaha died when his van crashed into a tree during a rainstorm. Co-workers said Samaha was very professional, but also with a great sense of humor. He leaves behind wife Melissa and two young children (read more). In Pittsburgh (Penn.), an unidentified dispatcher was injured in a collision enroute to work at 10:30 p.m., and was taken to the hospital with a serious leg injury.
