McNugget Meltdown on 911

A Fort Pierce (Fla.) woman dialed 911 three times to report her “emergency”–the counter staff at a McDonalds restaurant wouldn’t refund her money after she learned they had run out of McNuggets. Latreasa Goodman, 27, called to complain the staff offered her a McDouble, but she wanted a refund instead. When told her situation wasn’t an emergency, she told the dispatcher, “This is an emergency.” Police arrived and cited Goodman for misusing the 911 system. A McDonalds executive later apologized to Goodman and said the employees should have refunded her money. Read more and listen to the 911 calls here.
