Police Miss Killer by ’30 Seconds’

When an ex-boyfriend forced Amber Cremeens off the road in Wheatridge (Colo.) last Wednesday, a passing motorist saw him get out and fire several shots into the car, killing the woman. And according to police, an officer arrived just 30 seconds later, tragically too late to intervene in Cremeens’ death. Now Wheatridge police have released the logging tape of a 911 call made by Cremeens’ current boyfriend, who called after Cremeens called him to say Tyler Martin was following her and trying to force her off the road. Read more about the timing of events here, and then listen to the boyfriend’s 911 call, and the call from the motorist/witness here.
