Dispatcher Family Displaced by Tornado

When an EF-4 tornado struck Lone Grove (Okla.) last Tuesday night, among the many affected by the damage was Carter County sheriff’s dispatcher Linda Shepard. She and her husband, a Lone Grove police officer, were at their son’s house helping to install a new hot water heater. The tornado blew a boat and motor home against the son’s house, severely damaging it. Across the street, a trailer park was virtually destroyed. Read more about the Shepards and the tornado here.
