Writing Novels Is Dispatcher’s ‘Most Fun’

Alameda County (N. Calif.) fire dispatcher Rachael Herron has wanted to be a writer for her entire life, and now her dream may be coming true. Herron has signed a 3-book deal with major publisher Harper Collins for romance novels, which she says is the most fun type of book she’s written.
