A group of Chicago (Ill.) dispatchers jumped at the chance to play Santa Claus to a family on Christmas eve after receiving a 911 call from a child who said he didn’t have any food or toys for Christmas. Dispatcher Pamela Jenkins recognized the genuine nature of the call she answered–she’s a 13-year veteran and a part-time teacher.
