A Nassau County (Fla.) comm center supervisor has been arrested and charged with submitting fraudulent timecard records, and receiving $1,872 in pay that she did not earn. Melissa Sharkey is accused of signing 42 documents since Sept. 2007 that indicated she worked more time than she actually did. In most cases, said sheriff Tommy Seagraves, Sharkey earned overtime pay for the extra time. Sharkey posted $2,002 bond and was released after being booked.
