911 Call Captures Dog Attack

A Phoenix (Ariz.) woman was attacked by two dogs in a city park, and a passerby dialed 911 to tell the dispatcher the dogs had ripped her arm, “to the bone.” The caller and a passing taxi driver tried to drive away the dogs, which continued to bite the woman’s arm after having torn off all her clothes. Police arrived in less than four minutes, and the call captures their gunfire that killed the two dogs. The victim recovered, but with serious injuries.
