Intergraph Equips Spanish City

Public safety software company Intergraph Corp. has been selected by the city of Barcelona (Spain) to implement the company’s CAD and mapping solutions for the 39 square-mile jurisdiction of 1.5 million residents. The city, on on Spain’s east coast along the Mediterranean, will replace the city’s existing proprietary system used at the Emergency Management Center. The installation is similar to one already being used nationally in Belgium, and by several other European cities, including Berlin (Germany), Geneva and Zurich (Switzerland), and Vienna (Austria).
