An Atlanta (Geo.) dispatcher apparently cancelled an EMS response to a local school where a 16 year-old had collapsed last week, and now officials are investigating why that occurred. A two-person private ambulance arrived within 9 minutes in response to a separate 911 call about the youth, but AFD units didn’t arrive until 35 minutes after another 911 call. The boy later died in the hospital. Police are providing no details during an investigation of the incident, and a fire department spokesperson also had no details on what occurred.
