The first thing that Sierra Tune told El Paso County (Colo.) sheriff’s dispatcher Sharon Smith was, “I’m an 8 year-old kid and I don’t know what happened to my mom.” Her mother had collapsed with a stroke in May, but has now recovered and attended an award ceremony on Sierra’s school recently.
