Sheriff Says Dispatcher Had Gang Ties

An Orange County (Calif.) grand jury has indicted a sheriff’s dispatcher who allegedly accessed criminal justice databases illegally, and passed the information to members of a white supremacist gang. Lissa Marie Domanic, a 42, had been working as a dispatcher and office specialist since Feb. 2007, officials said, and had passed a background investigation before she was hired. A tip from another law enforcement agency brought Domanic’s activities to light. The grand jury indictment says that last May Domanic talked to a male inmate and passed him information she obtained from computer systems. A warrant search of her home turned up evidence of her link to the gang. She is being held on $50,000 bail.
