If you’re involved in public safety radio communications at all, the National Public Safety Telecommunications Council (NPSTC) Web site should definitely be among your Web browser bookmarks. The site’s “Meetings” page is particular full of updates, news and resources on the subject of wireless communications. At each meeting there are several presentations from experts in their field, and they are posted in various formats (pdf, .doc, etc.) that you an download and read/view. The latest meeting materials have not quite been posted, but include an update on FCC regulatory activities, an explanation of FEMA’s Disaster Emergency Communications Division and mobile satellite communications products.
