A dispatcher for the Knox County (Tenn.) E911 Center handled one of the oddest 911 calls ever made–from a man claiming to be a secret agent, stuck in a art museum air conditioning vent while he was attempting to defuse a Sovient nuclear bomb hidden in a blue plastic cow sculpture. No…really. Richard Smith was telling the truth, at least about being stuck in the air vent. Police and firefighters took an hour to find Smith, hook him up to ropes and a ladder truck and pull him off the roof. Smith has a prior psychiatric history and was taken to a hospital.
