Dispatcher’s Wife Injured by Gunfire

When a Pittsburgh (Penn.) police dispatcher answered a 911 call reporting that two persons had been injured by gunfire last Saturday, he promptly got emergency units headed to the scene. But then Larry Brown began making some telephone calls of his own, since he knew his wife was in the area of the shooting. After several calls, he confirmed that his wife had been grazed by one of the gunman’s bullets. She is expected to recover, and police are searching for the gunman and getaway car.
