The Fort Wayne (Ind.) 911 center will receive the assistance of Chaplain Matthew Stultz, who was sworn in this week to provide assistance to the comm center’s dispatchers. The center handles over 700,000 telephone calls a year, many involving very emotional and critical situations. Stultz says he’s not sure how his assistance will be needed yet, since everyone reacts differently to the job of dispatching. Read more about the arrangement here.
