A Jefferson County (Tenn.) commissioner who dialed 911 accidentally used some curse words when the dispatcher called back to confirm there was no problem. The county’s E-911 Board now wants an apology from Bob Beeler for his remarks. Beeler said he intended to dial a number in area code 919, but hit the wrong keys, and admitted he shouldn’t have cursed. But he also said he had apologized twice for the remarks and wasn’t going to write a letter of apology as the E-911 Board requested. Read more and listen to the telephone call here.
