Dispatcher Honored by Rotary Club

The Spring Hill (Fla.) Rotary Club wanted to recognize the “worker bees,” and so just created a Vocation Appreciation award, and the first recipient is Hernando County telecommunicator Bruce Nichols. Center manager Bruce Porter said when asked for a nomination, Nichols’s name came up often, despite working at the center only since Nov. 2006. “He kind of epitomized what happens if you put your effort and dedication to your job.
