A Kingston (Penn.) couple had their criminal charges amended after they resisted arrest at the police station and struck police officers and a dispatcher. The two were originally contacted for being intoxicated, but then resisted efforts to put them in handcuffs and fought with officers. When the couple arrived at the police station for booking, they charged at another officer and a dispatcher waiting for them. They were charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness and held on $10,000 bail.
