Dispatcher Receives Hero’s Funeral

Murdered White County (Geo.) dispatcher Stephanie Hart received a full-honors funeral Friday, surrounded by her family, friends, co-workers and ordinary citizens who came to pay tribute to her life. Hart’s father Jeff Haslup is a Toccoa Fire Department captain, and members of that department and the Shiloh Volunteer Fire Department formed an arch over the funeral procession. Hart’s mother Janice Haslup is a Stephens County dispatcher. Her burial included an honor guard and a helicopter fly-over. Read more about the event here.
