The new Dakota County (Minn.) Communications Center began operations last December, and a long article in the Pioneer Press newspaper says there has been a “litany of mishaps” at the center every since: phone lines not working, paging system dead zones, computer system crashes and more. County leaders have been discussing solutions, which apparently include legal action against the companies that installed software and hardware systems at the center. Read the entire story here.
