Grandmother Dials 911 For Missing Child

An Orange County (Fla.) grandmother and her daughter are at the center of a missing child case that includes a pair of 911 calls just released by the sheriff. Cindy Anthony first called 911 earlier this month to report that her daughter Casey had taken money and a car from her, and told a sheriff’s dispatcher that she wanted her daughter arrested. But less than an hour later, Cindy Anthony apparently learned more about the whereabouts of her 3 year-old grandaughter Caylee–her mother claimed a babysitter took the child one month earlier. The two calls sparked an extensive investigation and search, and Casey has been arrested on suspicion of murder. The child has not been located, but sheriff’s investigators believe she is dead.
