Victoria (BC) police say that radio reception has improved now that the first phase of $10.4 million worth of improvements has been completed, including new towers for transmitters and receivers. Several previous dead spots have been eliminated, officers say. The system was built in 2003 but has been plagued by officer complaints that several areas are without radio coverage. Read more here.
