When a Cleveland (Ohio) dispatcher working the night shift walked down the ground-floor hallway, he/she was surprised to see a teenager wandering through the building. The intruder fled through an open window, and now union officials say they want better protection for the employees, including surveillance cameras and improved lighting. The comm center is located at a former district headquarters building, and there are officers working inside during the day. However, after office hours only the comm center staff occupies the building. Police said nothing was taken during the 3 a.m. incident.
