Response Questioned in Two Deaths

A Allegan County (Mich.) man is questioning if his 911 call was taken seriously when he reported that his mother-in-law and that woman’s nephew were swept into a ravine by flood waters. The 51 year-old woman and 17 year-old nephew were later found dead inside the overturned and mangled car. Larry Huff admitted any delay would not have saved the two, but was still frustrated over how the dispatcher handled the call. The region was hit with heavy storms, generating alots of 911 calls and incidents, county officials say. Read more and listen to Huff’s calls here.
