An extraordinary customized version of Google Maps has debuted, offering a way to display Air Force bases, military airspace and even civilian aviation information that would be useful to public safety dispatchers and others. The SeeAndAvoid.org Web site is intended to provide information to civil aviators so they can avoid encounters or collisions with military aircraft, but also provides specific location and identifying information that dispatchers could use when handling ground or air-based incidents.
