In the wake of an unsuccessful auction of spectrum for a nationwide public safety radio network earlier this year, the FCC has issued a call for “comment, ideas, and recommendations” on how the auction process might be revised for a future auction. The FCC is also looking for ideas on how a wide range of other issues related to the radio network itself, including rules on access, performance and license terms, sharing and fees.
