911 Call Too ‘Haunting’ To Play

The 911 call made to a Victoria (BC) dispatcher reporting a murder-suicide back in Sept. 2007 has been ruled too emotion to play during a coroner’s inquest into the incident. Five persons were later found dead in the Oak Bay home where the 911 call originated. Coroner’s officials say the tape will be played in a closed session for the five-person jury that is hearing the 10-day inquest on the deaths. They also say that the dispatcher who handled the call will also testify about the conversation with the witness. Read more <here.
