A good idea for a Spanish language translation card was made even better by a West Palm Beach (Fla.) officer, and now the card has been posted on-line for anyone to use. The officer saw the card used by Charlotte-Mecklenburg (NC) police, and revised it for use by his agency. The card graphically depicts various weapons, vehicles and other descriptive elements, and allows a witness to circle them to quickly describe suspects or other persons. The card is being distributed by Andrew Jackson University in Birmingham (Ala.) as a service to the law enforcement community. Download (pdf) the card here, or just get a glimpse here.
