Dispatcher Jailed Over Threats

According to the St. Mary’s (WV) Oracle newspaper, former Pleasants County 911 dispatcher Denver Adams was arrested and charged with assault and stalking after a co-worker complained of threats and other behavior. Adams, a former Marine, is being held on bond until his pre-trial hearing tomorrow. According to the newspaper, Adams threatened to kill everyone at the center, and made “in-depth” remarks about his sexual desires with the complainant. He resigned after his arrest, the newspaper says.
