A Pierce County (Wash.) man whose house keys were taken when his car was impounded dialed a state patrol dispatcher and made threats that ended with his arrest. The man’s demeanor was originally calm, but when dispatcher “Chris” told him that he’d have to deal with the tow company, he became angry and alluded to hurting an officer. “Sir, I want to remind you this is a recorded line…” the dispatcher told the man, who interrupted, “I don’t really care!” Read a story and watch a TV report here.
