RV’ers Take Over 911 Meeting

The Richmond (Ken.) city council called a special meeting to discuss the possibility of moving their dispatching operations to Madison County, but instead, they were confronted by a group of RV enthusiasts angry over the council’s decision to rescind its approval to convert property into an RV park. The debate pits the RVers against a group that wants to preserve the current park area. City manager David Evans explained to the group that a special meeting is limited by law to that one topic, but did let one member of the protesters to speak for five minutes.
