Tioga County (NY) dispatchers and even officers in the field can now watch citizens around the courthouse and downtown streets of Wellsboro, using a $100,000 video camera system. The camera network is part of a $5 million technology upgrade to the comm center and county’s radio system, officials said, including Phase II and mapping. The video system allows dispatchers to control the cameras, and for officers to view the video on their in-car laptops. Read more about the capabilities here.
