Murder Trial Begins With 911 Call

The murder trial of Zackary Stewart began in a Greene County (Mo.) with the logging tape of the victim’s 911 call for help. Stewart is accused of shooting David Dulin in Nov. 2006, apparently as part of a robbery. “Two white men, 20s and 30s. Came in and shot me twice in the head,” Dulin told Stone County dispatcher Mary Hafar, who kept him on the phone for 27 minutes as deputies responded. At one point Dulin asked Hafar, “Where’s help? Where are they?” An arriving deputy said Dulin was still breathing and his eyes were open, but he said nothing. Read more about the court trial here.
