Kudos to Roanoke County (Virg.) dispatcher Christy Gorth for her handling of a 911 call from a mother-to-be last week–and it’s not Gorth’s first delivery. The woman’s husband was at work and the children were all sleeping when the baby decided to arrive. So Gorth helped the woman through the delivery by phone.
