The latest version of the OpenISES CAD software has been released, integrating with the project’s just-released CARDS software, which provides on-line EMD features. The project started in 2004 by a diverse group of software and public safety personnel across the country, and has been developing several programs under the Creative Commons, open-source license. That is, free. Since then CAD is up to V2.6, with all the standard incident and unit tracking features, mapping and more. The software is based on php and runs on a wide variety of Web servers.
