In the ramp up to National Public Safety Telecommunicator Week (April 13-19), there are many stories about comm centers and dispatchers being honored by local and state organizations. The latest is Forest City (Iowa) dispatcher Sue Bosma, who fielded a phone call from the wife of a trucker on-the-road, and who fell ill. Bosma was able to get help to the man, no doubt saving him from a fatal aneurysm. Read the full story here.
