Congressional Hearings on Spectrum Auction?

The fall-out from the FCC’s spectrum auction continue, with a pledge from U.S. Rep. John Dingell (D-Mich.) to hold Congressional hearings on why the D Block assigned to public safety did not attract sufficiently high bids, and what course of action to take now. Dingell chairs the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, and in a statement said, “The construction of a nationwide, next-generation, interoperable broadband network for public safety is a crucial policy objective, and the need for such a network has not diminished.”
