The Howard County (Md.) 911 Center will celebrate it’s 30th anniversary this month, and the Baltimore Sun recounts its history and all the changes that have occurred over that time. The center’s 72 dispatchers work in a basement room in Ellicot City, which was renovated last summer. A back-up center was also updated and enlarged. Read the profile and store here.
