Veteran Dispatcher & Wife Killed in Crash

Veteran Allegheny County (Penn.) dispatcher Edward Fetcho was tragically killed in an auto accident Friday night that also took the life of his wife Jane. The Fetchos were enroute to their daughter’s cheerleading competition in Columbus (Ohio) when state troopers say he turned off Highway 95 in Mt. Gilead (Ohio) into a driveway. A vehicle coming from the other direction broadsides their car, killing both of them. Edward Fetcho, 49, was a 25-year veteran of the agency, which provided grief counselors to the staff. Officials said the roads were snowy at the time of the crash.
