Dispatcher’s Home Hit by Tornado

Earlier this month a series of tornadoes whipped across the mid-West destroying at least 300 homes, including one belonging to Williamson County (Tenn.) 911 mapping coordinator Jennie Irwin. She and her 5 year-old son were at home when the tornado hit, tearing their home apart. Both escaped unhurt, and Irwin later told a TV reporter that she never thought of dialing 911, since they were neither hurt or trapped. Watch a TV video about her ordeal here.
